All net proceeds from Cazfest go towards raising awareness of heart risk in young people and to help finance heart screening for sixth form students in Hertfordshire & Essex.

Approximately 12 children and young adults die each week from undiagnosed heart conditions.

Many of these sudden deaths can be detected by a simple and inexpensive screening.

Cazfest 2011

The story so far .....

Cazfest 2009 was a great success with over 2,500 people attending and raising over £25k.

Since then Cazfest has gone from strength to strength with full one day events held in 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The Cazfest team took a breather in 2013, but still found time to put on a "Mini Cazfest" event at The Rhodes centre in Bishop's Stortford.

Cazfest returned in its original form for 2014 and 2015

We're taking a breather again in 2016 but will be suporting Hadfest, a family fun day festival, to be held on Saturday, July 16th. All proceeds from this will be going to Cazfest so please do join us there! More details will be posted here as soon as they're available.

In memory of Caroline Johnstone (Caz)

Perhaps the best explanation of what Cazfest is all about can be found in the following video.

Originally shown on the big screen at the 2011 event, the voice over is by Ross Johnstone, Caroline's Brother.
